Dua Ufku

A Prayer for Holy Days and Nights

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the accursed. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! Peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.

  • Peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah!
  • Peace and blessings be upon you, O Beloved of Allah!
  • Peace and blessings be upon you, O Master of the first and the last!

O Lord of the Worlds and the Most Generous of the generous! We have opened our hands and come to Your gate. In these blessed Three Months, and on this night of Regaib; O Allah, we ask You to include our prayers among those made by the sincere souls in Your Kaaba, in the presence of our Prophet (pbuh) in the Pure Garden (Ravza), in Masjid al-Aqsa, in Arafat, and all across the world.

O Lord! O Lord! O Lord! For the sake of Your Greatest Names (Ism-i Azam) ; The Unique, The Ever-Living, The Self-Subsisting, The Judge, The Just, The Most Holy ... For the sake of all Your Beautiful Names, For the sake of all the Prophets, especially the Sultan of the universe, our Prophet (pbuh), For the sake of the Holy Quran and all the divine words You have revealed, For the sake of the Archangels; Gabriel, Michael, Israfel, Azrael, and all the noble angels, For the sake of our elderly whose backs are bowed in devotion and our innocent, sinless children , For the sake of the blessed days and nights like Friday, Berat, Regaib, Miraç, and the Night of Power... For the sake of the sincere ones and the cries of the oppressed...

O Lord, do not turn us away from Your gate empty-handed!

O Lord! We have mistakes, sins, and acts of ingratitude that we committed knowingly or unknowingly. We express our deepest regret for all of them. We come to Your presence saying: “A million times, I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Magnificent, the Generous, the Merciful...”

"O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, You love forgiveness, so forgive us."

O Lord! For all our brothers and sisters saying "Amen" right now, and for those who requested prayers from us; especially for the victimized, the oppressed, and the imprisoned , please remove every kind of material and spiritual hardship.

  • Do not make us dependent on anyone but You!
  • Do not let us be humiliated or needy in this world or the hereafter!
  • Do not let our feet slip, and do not let our vision be clouded by sin!
  • We seek refuge in You from being a plaything for the ego and Satan, from trials we cannot bear, and from everything that does not please You. Protect our loved ones, our future generations, and the oppressed, O Lord!

O Lord! Our state is like that of Prophet Musa (pbuh) when he cried out: “My Lord, I am truly in need of whatever good You may send down to me.” Today, we too are in need of every good from You. For those whose hearts have been weeping with sorrow for years, grant them days where they will weep out of joy and beauty as soon as possible.

O Lord! Grant success to the Ummah of Muhammad who strive to spread the noble name of our Prophet (pbuh) to every corner of the world. Increase their numbers and make us among those who carry this sacred concern. Do not let us be of those who lose while they are on the threshold of winning!

O Lord! We supplicate with the words of our Prophet (pbuh):

"O Allah, bless us in Rajab and Sha'ban, and allow us to reach Ramadan."

Grant us true Eids (festivals) where the tears and blood of the Ummah cease, where the oppressed find salvation and are reunited with their families.

O Lord! Just as You protected Prophet Musa and Prophet Ibrahim from the Pharaohs and Nimrods of their time; protect the Ummah of Muhammad from the evils of the modern-day oppressors.

O Lord! Have mercy on all our deceased. Make their graves gardens of Paradise and grant them the company of our Prophet (pbuh). Grant us a life lived with faith, the Quran, and steadfastness.

Peace and blessings be upon you, O Messenger of Allah... Amen, Amen, Amen!

Peace be upon the Messengers. And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. AL-FATIHA with Salavat.
